Frances has always enjoyed arts and crafts in her spare time, and can often be found at home sewing a medieval hat or dress or painting some kind of picture.
When she is not at her full-time administration job or sewing, she spend her weekends participating in 15th century Wars of the Roses re-enactments as a medieval lady, and as a longbow archer.
All in all, a busy person! |

Paul has been active in Martial Arts for many years and in July 2008 he set up a Historical European Martial Arts group in Shipley, Bradford - a chapter of Schola Gladiatoria, specializing in German treatises of the 15th century. When he is not at his full-time job as an archeologist or practicing sword-fighting, he can be found in his basement workshop bashing bits of wood until they become useful things. His passion for woodworking started several years ago when he made an armour stand for Fran’s helmet and brigandine in the living room of his flat. He has since progressed to bigger and better equipment, though he still has aspirations of a large workshop in the garden of his dream house! Paul spends far too much of his free time sorting through stacks of wood at the timber yard on the weekends to find just the right pieces for the next project.
