Blood-letting chart based on the York Barber Surgeons Medical Texts from the mid 15th century. Text is in English. Calligraphic ink on canvas, 0.5 m x 0.5 m.

Commissioned for Cosmeston Medieval Village.

 

Based on the 1100 Gutun Owain Welsh diagram, with Latin transcription used. Canvas and acrylic paint with calligraphic ink, 0.5 x 0.5 meters.
