Historical and Historically Inspired Images

These images are worked in acrylic paint on wood panels.  A choice of woods are available, although lighter woods such as Yew or Oak produce a more striking image.  Images can also be drawn onto parchment, canvas and various papers and surfaces, though pyrography can only be done on wood.

Commissioned piece – Medieval man with Madonna and Christ child – 9 inches x 6.5 inches (each panel) on ash, with medieval wrought iron hinge.
